En el centro del Valle se asienta Broto (905 m), su capital histórica y cabecera del municipio.

Recorrido de norte a sur por el río Ara, se estructura en torno a la carretera (Avenida de Ordesa). Posee una completa infraestructura de servicios que justifica su importancia turística.

Puntos de interés:

  • La iglesia de San Pedro (s. XVI), de dimensiones mucho mayores que la mayoría de iglesias del valle, es un ejemplo característico de iglesia fortificada altoaragonesa.
  • Si una cosa destaca en Broto es la cascada del Sorrosal, un salto de agua de unos 90 metros, que se precipita de una pared de roca en la zona oeste de Broto.
  • La torre de la cárcel de Broto (s XVI), está situada junto a la Casa del Valle. En épocas concretas se puede visitar y ver los grabados que realizaron los presos, especialmente asombrosos por su cantidad, su organizado programa iconográfico y la calidad artística.
  • En el año 2007 se inauguró el Centro de Interpretación de la Ganadería del Valle de Broto.

  • Fiesta Mayor en honor a la Virgen del Rosario: primer fin de semana de octubre.
  • Fiesta de Invierno en honor a San Blas: 3 de febrero
  • Romería a la Virgen de Morillo: 1 de mayo.
  • Romería a Santa Elena: segundo domingo de junio.
  • Fería de ganadería del Valle de Broto: 25 de septiembre.
  • En el año 2007 se recuperó el tradicional carnaval.
